Rijeka is a town on a north Adriatic coast. It can be reached by car, train, bus and airplane.
The closest airports are Rijeka (RJK) 26km, Pula (PUY) 106km, Trieste (TRS) 113km, Zagreb (ZAG) 170km and Venice (VCE) 222km.
From there the best way to get to Rijeka is either to rent a car or come by bus. Trieste is connected by Flixbus and Zagreb by Arriva.
Rijeka has a number of hotels. See for example Bonavia, Continental, and Jadran which are within walking distance from the venue. However, a heads up is due. The distance is in its considerable part in vertical direction. The Unversity Campus is connected by public transportation with city centre, lines 1, 2, 6,7 and 8 have stops nearby. There are also other options, such as taxi, Uber or Bolt.
There is also a limited number of rooms for guests in the dormitories and they have to be booked well in advance.
